Introduction
These Terms govern your use of swimmingclass.co.uk and all services provided by Swimming Class UK, including swimming lessons, coaching and related activities. By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Fees and Payment
- All fees must be paid in full at least 48 hours before a course or session.
- We accept debit/credit card, bank transfer, and Direct Debit (returning clients).
- Returned payments incur a £20.00 administration fee.
- Unpaid invoices accrue a daily charge of 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Individual lessons: Under 48 hours’ notice — 50% charge. Under 24 hours — 100% charge.
- Weekly courses: Full refund before your first lesson. After the first lesson, 10% admin charge deducted. No refund for missed lessons after the first class.
- Crash courses: Non-refundable.
- All cancellations in writing to hello@swimmingclass.co.uk.
3. Medical Conditions
- Disclose any medical conditions or individual needs before your first session.
- We will make reasonable accommodations but cannot guarantee specific arrangements.
4. Valuables and Belongings
We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. Please do not bring valuables to lessons.
5. Attendance and Behaviour
- Arrive no more than 5 minutes before your lesson. Be collected promptly afterwards.
- A responsible adult must remain on-site for children under 16.
- Disruptive behaviour may result in removal and termination of lessons without refund.
6. Coaches and Consistency
- We strive for consistency of coach but cannot guarantee this in every circumstance.
- All coaches are ASA or STA qualified and DBS enhanced checked.
7. Pool Premises and Liability
- We maintain premises to a reasonable standard but cannot accept liability for structural defects.
- Clients enter water at their own risk. Our coaches are trained in water safety.
8. Pool Rules
- Shower before entering the pool.
- Appropriate swimwear at all times.
- No food, drink, smoking or vaping poolside.
- No photography or video without prior written consent.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate lessons for non-payment, disruptive behaviour or breach of these terms. No refund will be issued.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on swimmingclass.co.uk is owned by Swimming Class UK or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute any content without written permission.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
