Swimming Class UK is not a franchise or a programme run by rotating staff. It was founded by Brian FitzGerald in North London in 2012, and the philosophy has never changed. Every client gets undivided attention, expert coaching and sessions built around their specific goals.
Over 30 years Brian has coached swimmers of every age and ability — from three-year-olds taking their first steps in a pool, to adults in their seventies. Triathletes preparing for Ironman events, club swimmers targeting competition, Premier League footballers, children with autism and adults with deep-seated aquaphobia who had tried and failed elsewhere.

Built Over 30 Years
Swimming Class UK did not begin as a business. It began with a coach who was very good at teaching people to swim, and a growing number of clients who kept coming back and sending others. By the time it became Swimming Class UK in 2012, Brian had already spent two decades building the knowledge and methodology that underpins everything today.
Growth has always been organic — built on results and referrals rather than marketing. When you book with Swimming Class UK, you get Brian or one of his carefully selected associate coaches, not a random instructor assigned by a booking system.
